Alfredo Regatta

Ingredients:
1 cup milk
1/4 cup half and half
2 1/2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 tablespoons flour
3 cloves garlic, minced
fresh black pepper to taste
onions to taste
mushrooms to taste
pasta of choice, cooked and drained


SAUTE onions and mushrooms, and set aside.
MIX milk and half & half in pan over low heat, stir for five minutes. Add butter & grated Parmesan as you whisk. After five minutes, stir in flour 1/2 tablespoon at a time. Stir vigorously over high heat.
ADD mushrooms and onions. Add fresh pepper & garlic. Serve over pasta.
